You earn well.
Your money should feel just as clear.

Twelve mutual funds you don't remember buying. ESOPs you're scared to touch. A home loan decision you keep postponing. Let's untangle it — in plain English, one honest conversation at a time.

The six knots tech families keep getting stuck on

You're great at your job. But personal finance was never part of the syllabus — and the advice online is either too basic or trying to sell you something.

📊

Too many mutual funds

SIPs started on five different apps, half of them overlapping. You can't tell what you own or whether it's working.

📈

ESOPs & RSUs

A big chunk of net worth tied to one stock — and total confusion on vesting, selling windows and the tax bill.

🏠

Home loan decisions

Prepay or invest? ₹1.5Cr or ₹2.5Cr? The EMI math is clear; the life-impact math isn't.

🎓

Child education planning

You know it'll cost a fortune in 12 years. You don't know how much to put away today, or where.

🌴

Retirement confusion

"Am I on track?" is the question no calculator quite answers for a 40-year-old in tech.

🧾

Tax inefficiency

Old vs new regime, capital gains, NPS, the works — quietly leaking lakhs every year without a plan.

Who this is for

If this sounds like you, we'll get along.

  • You're 30–50, working in software, data, product, consulting or banking
  • Household income ₹30L–₹1Cr+ — the money is there, the plan isn't
  • You'd rather understand your money than blindly hand it to a relationship manager
  • You value plain reasoning over hot tips and "guaranteed" returns
  • You're anywhere in India — or an NRI abroad. We meet over Zoom or Google Meet

Honest, not a sales pitch

I don't sell products, earn commissions, or push insurance you don't need.

This is financial education — the same way you'd learn anything else complex: clearly, with someone who's done the homework.

Not satisfied after our session? Just ask — I'll refund you, no questions asked.

100%

of the conversation is about your situation, not a product brochure.

Goal-based planning

Start from your life, not from a hot fund tip

Most "advice" starts with a product. We start with what you actually want — then build the money plan backwards from there. Every rupee gets a job.

🛟

Emergency & safety net

The buffer that lets you take risks elsewhere — and survive a layoff.

🏠

Buying / upgrading the home

How much house, how much loan, prepay or invest — modelled to your numbers.

2–7 yrs
🎓

Child's education

A target corpus and a monthly number that actually gets you there.

10–18 yrs
🌴

Financial independence / retirement

The "how much is enough" number, and whether you're on track.

15–25 yrs
✈️

The life-now goals

Sabbatical, second home, that big trip — planned, not guilt-funded.

Flexible

How a goal becomes a plan

  1. Name the goal & the year. "₹1.5Cr for my daughter's education by 2038."
  2. Adjust for inflation. What that goal really costs in future rupees.
  3. Map what's already pointed at it. Existing funds, ESOPs, EPF — assigned to goals, not floating.
  4. Find the monthly number. What to invest, and roughly where, to close the gap.
  5. Review & adjust. Life changes — raises, kids, moves. The plan flexes with you.

A simple, written summary you understand and can act on. No 40-page report nobody reads.

About

I'm in tech too. I just got obsessed with the money side.

For years I watched brilliant engineers and product folks — people who optimise systems for a living — leave their own finances on autopilot. Overlapping funds, untouched ESOPs, no plan for the goals that mattered most.

Clean Your Finance is where I share what I've learned, in the same plain language I'd use with a colleague over coffee. No jargon, no products, no pressure — just clarity.

Follow along as I write about real money decisions for tech families across India and abroad on LinkedIn and X.

Good questions

Before you book

Do you sell mutual funds or insurance?

No. I don't sell financial products and I don't earn commissions. This is education and clarity — the goal is that you understand your own money well enough to make confident decisions.

Are you a SEBI-registered investment adviser?

Clean Your Finance currently shares financial education and general information — not personalised, regulated investment advice. I'll always be upfront about what I can and can't do, and point you to a SEBI-registered adviser when specific, regulated advice is what you need.

What does the free call cost, and what's the catch?

It's genuinely free and there's no catch. It's a 30-minute conversation to understand your situation and see if I can help. No obligation, no hard sell.

I'm not in a metro / I live abroad. Can we still talk?

Absolutely. Every session happens online over Zoom or Google Meet, so I work with tech families anywhere in India and NRIs across time zones. Location doesn't matter.

Do you work with NRIs?

Yes. NRIs face their own tangle — Indian mutual funds and stocks, NRE/NRO accounts, repatriation, double-taxation questions and goals split across countries. We sort through it the same plain-English way, online.

My finances are a mess. Is it too late?

It's almost never too late, and "a mess" is the most common starting point. The first step is simply seeing everything clearly — we go from there.
